The OCR exams board has confirmed it plans to build a new GCSE in natural history. This is an exciting time for environmental learning in school. The challenge is to make the Exam rigorous and stop it falling into the non subjects that often beligh the new gcses.
There is already plenty of environmental learning in biology geography. The challenge is not to water down these subjects while maintaining rigour in this new GCSE.
